Virginia (aka Ginger) Reimche Kalantzes was born and raised on my grandparents Sam and Lois’s farm in Nashua, Montana with her sisters Carol and Mary and brother Gordon. All of whom she cared for deeply.
She married, raised a family and enjoyed many friendships in Salt Lake City, Utah until her death in 2018 from Alzheimer’s disease. She found happiness and comfort in many forms throughout her life. Her various collections, painting, and volunteer work were among the things she cherished most. Primarily because they brought people into her life that were kind hearted, cared for her, shared her joys and passions, and in many ways provided an escape and solace throughout the course of her life.
